Stonewall Jackson’s Way

Something for the weekend.  Stonewall Jackson’s Way sung by the incomparable Bobby Horton who has waged an unceasing struggle to bring the music of the Civil War to modern audiences.  My attitude to “Old Blue Light” as a general is summed up by a New Orleans priest who served as a chaplain under Jackson during the Civil War and at a dedication after the war to a monument to Jackson prayed, “O Lord when you decreed that the Confederacy should fail, you knew that you would have to remove thy servant Stonewall Jackson.”
