A mini-series on The History Channel on the fight after The Alamo for Texas Independence, the fourth episode focusing on the battle of San Jacinto will air tonight at 8:00 PM central. I have been watching it. It is intriguing but it does have problems: too many soap opera elements, too many separate story lines and too many historical inaccuracies. However it does have one great redeeming quality: the characters act like early 19th century men and women and not like 21rst century men and women wearing costumes.
